I found online a note that stated Mustangs with a USB port for a media player have a second port. So I checked and found that the media interface that is just above the glove box has 2 USB ports.

So I got a "mini USB" to a "USB A" adapter cable, and a female to female "USB A" gender changer. I then plugged in my iPod classic, and "USB2" shows up as a source. I now have my iPod in the glove box. Now I have more room in my rear centre counsel.

I hope this is of use for others.

Gotta watch those gender changers. lol Good tip, thanks for posting that up, less clutter in the console is a good thing and the glovebox isn't good for much else anyway.
