hi again. just joined today after having my 05 gt for a few weeks.
i have noticed how uncomfortable the stock seats are.
i get that they are 12 years old but there is no support.
i was curious what some of you have done to upgrade/change your seats.
i got this car as a mid life crisis and i dont want a lower back pain to be part of the crisis cheers

 

I have an 05 & 07. Never really had a seat issue other than buying Coverking Seat covers to protect the original fabric. My 05 4.0L came with a lumbar support button on the lower left front of the driver's seat.

 

I've driven mine to Phoenix from Calgary and back again and never had any issues with the seats/comfort. They're not luxury car seats by any means but I've sat in many worse.

 

They are expensive but the Ford Racing Recaro seats are awesome.

 

Ford Performance Recaro's FTMFW. $3250 US + tax for the pair....ouch though. But damn they look good.

 

^ wow they look sweet. i was able to foul around with the automatic controls and seem to have found a nice setting. i also have the "al bundy" hemorrhoid cushion to sit on. lol

 

My 06 seats don't give my any trouble; maybe you just need new foam (?)
(lol maybe you should get an old Dodge!)
