Washing and Drying

So this is not a plug and by no means do I get paid by "Adams"

Today I tried a new technique with some new product in a first time use.

Adams car shampoo with a Chemical guys foam cannon using a 1600 psi pressure washer. I found this to be perfect pressure for pre rinse and creates nice foam.

After using the 2 bucket method and rinsing from top to bottom it was time to dry. I use waffle weave type drying towels. For the first time I added a step to the drying process. Lubrication. Using Adams detail spray I sprayed a light mist on the paint then started the drying process.

I was left with a spot free streak free shiny finish. This adds a small coat of protection to the paint and in the process protects the paint from swirls and scratches by lubricating the surface while drying.

I recommend giving it a try if your as neurotic about detailing as I. Pics to follow.

Cheers

Link to the Chemical Guys Foam Cannon model ? I tried the Simoniz foam cannon from CTC, not bad for $35, but I've seen several different models on Amazon and have been curious to see if its worth the cash.

I haven't used any Adams stuff, been stuck on Zaino products for many years. ( at least 10 )

These were taken a day later and already had a light layer of dust.

The guy across the street spent $300 at the dealership to get his suv cleaned;
10 minutes after he got home,
the birds used it for a toilet lol

Act of nature, could happen anytime, depends on how many trees in your neighbourhood.

I got my foamer from amazon.ca. First one was a dud but the replacement works like gang busters with Costco Turtle wax Ice soap.
Link to the foam gun and soap.
