Hi.

I was going through a box of parts that came with the 67 fastback I bought. I was wondering if anyone could identify them for me.

One item looks like a vacuum modulator unit - I'm guessing for a tilt-away steering wheel?
Another item looks like some kind of support bracket for something...
The last item is a reinforced piece of rubber with a slight bend in it at one end.

Any ideas?

So I've had some success...

Part number 2 is a handle to hold open the trap door on the fastback. It mounts in the trunk on the right hand side.

Part number 3 is a window trim piece for a COUPE 1/4 window (I have a fastback) hence, I couldn't match it to anything..

Part number 1... I should have taken another photo of the opposite side. There is a hose that loops around from one port to another (same size as the big hose). The rigid (small) line goes to a short piece of rubber hose. I'm thinking it connect to a vacuum port on the back of the block because the bracket has engine blue paint on it & looks like it lines up with a couple of holes towards the back. The temperature control valves have one in/out port & the vacuum line connects to the top. All the pic's I found show that temperature valve mounted to the passenger side firewall. SO - looks like that mystery is still unsolved...

FYI - Last part goes on he rear of the intake manifold & connects to the vacuum supply. It's supposed to be a modulating valve for the Ford Thermactor system, which was a SMOG system used on cars in California.
