paint chip repair

paint chip repair

Hey,does anyone know of any good paint chip repair guys.My paint is still in great shape but i have a few noticable rock chips that drive me crazy :batgrin: The paint is hard to match but i'm sure there are good guys out there....

I know Duplicolor makes a kit that fix's this problem. It maybe worth checking out :thumb1:

i went right to ford to get my touch up paint.
just give them your VIN## and the will be able to tell you waht paint you need,
thiers is also pretty cheap...$8.00 for a bottle :4:

my paint is custom,it's subaru wrx blue i think i'll go to the subaru dealership and get some,it's probably the same price range as ford,my only worry is applying it the brushes they give you suck ***.....

yes they do. hope your paint hasnt faded much.
after you apply the paint let it dry, and take the finest wet sand paper and smooth it out.
thats what i did. looks ok, but you can tell my paint is old :1:

ya my paint is in good shape it's only three years old,i think i'll try a few smaller spot first,see if i don't screw it up too bad. :2:

Take a look at Langka chip repair. www.langka.com It will eliminate the paint repair blob and make the repair unseen. We sell it here in Canada also.

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering about this kit system. I have seen lots of video's on you tube and it looks like it does a great job. I have some chips on my bumper which is plastic and wonder if this system will work the same on plastic?
