thinking of a drop in K&N air filter, I am hearing the oil can hurt mass air flow sensor or other sensors, anyone know if it really hurts or even if not, is this cheap add on instead of factory filter do anything what so ever, thanks all

 

Meh, why risk it if you hear oil can hurt MAF sensor or other sensors, stick to factory, I think you need at least a CAI and tune to make any sort of difference that matters, but thats just me.

 

Google k and n filter and see what comes up. From what I have read on the forums, k&n doesn't do and is worse then stock. Just get a tune and you'll "feel" the change more.

 

x2 on what these guys said. Tried a K&N oil able on my F150 and tossed it after a couple oil changes. Gummed my MAF and made it run rough.
