Gas Mileage

I own a 2004 1.8 V6.I havn't yet had the oil changed. What kind of mileage are people getting with this engine?I have been told the mileage should improve after the first oil change and once the engine is broken in.Any truth in this?It seems pretty poor so far.Any ideas on improving mileage other than not driving it

First thing I'd do is go get the 3.0 litres you seem to be missing....:laughhard

Lotta things affect mileage..driving style and where you spend most of your time.. topping out in all gears, keeping your foot in it alla time will result in poor results. City driving will be lower than highway. 'Verts are heavier than coupes.
As for mileage improving once the engine breaks in... I've never experienced it myself.. broken in means I can pound on it! :chacha:
