as the title says soon enough im gonna be taking out my v6 motor and tranny and change to something different. im looking for more power so i might be installing a 302. but before that im gonna be repainting my car 2 different colours.

if your going to do a swap get a cobra motor. if your thinking of putting that much money into the swap think about adding a power adder to that 6er. tmaturbo.com has a great kit for our 6's and have produced enough power to gt down gt's and cobras. of course bigger will always give you more power but try somethign different. look at v6power.net they have a guy with a stock long block(intake to oil pan and no porting) with a tt set up and is running 10sec for the 1/4 mile and it's still going. anyways... that all i have to say.

ya ive already gone around to see some prices not bad so far but my number one spot is paul silva performance, but b4 that im gonna be buying the transmission and everything else i need from mustangs alley

you're painting your car 2 colours before the swap? That right there tells me your car will be a V6 for a while.

my mind has changed its gonna be one colour but right now im just gonna stick with a t5 tranny in my v6 but im gettin it painted a custom blue.

anyone know how low i should go when i have 17's or 18's on my car? should i go 2.0 or lower?

i think 2' is enough of a drop .

My V6 was 2"+ drop and the ride was extremely bumpy. 1.5" with the Cobra was way more comfortable.

For the Money have you thought about just adding like Turbos or Something like that to your 6?
