Have you tried burping the coolant system? This might help. :tup

sitting in warm weather the 2.3L get warm FAST.... if ur stuck in traffic crank the heat... it will help drop it... also... try to get a switch hooked up to the fan if u can..... my father and myself tried alot of things and best we found was cranking the heat... sux ass when its 40* out but it brings it down....

HA HA!! Intake Temperature Sensor was dead.

Once I get another one it should be fine. :chacha:

MY 91 used to get pretty hot, but the fan brought it right back when it turned on.... would go right up to the top of the temp guage when sitting on a tire smoking it!!

Same thing happened to my 91 aswell ... had to hook the fan up to a switch, woked like a charm... It still got really hot though, especially sitting in 401 traffic everyday. It never died though, or overheated, it usually sat at the top of the temp guage. Tough little bugger it was.
