You are pretty close now, just keep an eye on the temp levels and check your coolant often for oil contamination, the coolant will turn milky when mixed with oil. Keep an eye open for excessive whuite smoke out the tail pipes as well, but you will be overheating by the time this happens.

Whena nd if it happens let me know, I'll changed head gaskets for $500 plus parts, like new head bolts, gaskets and all fluids, I can have it done in 2-3 days as well.

I would probably end up putting in the Supercoupe engine if they went within the month. I made my brother promise to help me put it in by the end of the month, which is why I need the 7.5" differential as I posted in the Wanted section. There's no way I'm going to the JCO Bash in St. Thomas and getting embarassed by Cavaliers and Neons again like last year. It's on the 11th and if the engine is in, I'll be out for revenge for all the people that laughed at my 17.8s run.

With an O2 sensor guarantee????? :biggrin:

Also pull your oil filler cap off once in a while, and look at the bottom, it should always look brown to black, never gray. These motors also develop front cover leaks, which look harmless. However; the cooloant you see coming out of the front, is also going in the back into the oil.

It's starting to leak oil like crazy. When I drove to London from Windsor I was down a quart.. and I had just topped it back up. The front and rear covers are leaking, there's a leak from one of the valve covers onto the exhaust manifold making that nice burnt oil smell into the cabin. Also, the whole bottom of the engine bay is covered in oil which I saw when I did my oil changes. I knew it was leaking from the rear main but now the front started. It's time for a major overhaul and the new engine is just the perscription it needs.

Oil leaks are not the end of the world, if the front cover leaks a/f, that's a big deal! Well it could be, catch it early, no issue. Left unchecked, goodbye front cank seal, hello a/f goodbye bearings.
