My mustang was driving great in the snow 'till I blew the clutch.

I put a bunch of stuff in the trunk like a Hydrolic jack (small one) then I took a bunch of empty 2L bottles and filled em up with water and put em in a box. I put the box over the rearend then put a cargo net over top and screwed the Cargo net down.

I also always keep a shitload of tools in the trunk. I figure I had an extra 150-200 lbs over the axle (most of it near the drive wheel) and she went pretty good.

always pump the brake to stop. It works better.

It's a good Idea is to get a bag of Kitty Litter for the trunk. good traction aid and you can use it for oil spills in the drive way when you change your oil.

Have fun.

My 84 Mustang GT Turbo (2.3L turbo) was great in the snow. I have no explanation for this, it just was. Only got stuck once and i never had snow tires or anything. My 5.0s have been just terrible......

I drove my departed beater 86 GT in the winter with only all-season tires on it, no weight in the back and it was fine. Got stuck on average about once a year. I loved that thing in the winter. Too bad the body died on it.
