Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase a new set of tires for my snake 97!!

And want to know if these tiny tires fit on the front, or I will rubb my fenders????

I know that they are awesome on the rear... :tup

They won't rub, but are a pretty aggressive fit for the front of a 94-98. Meaning that depending on wheel size and offset, that tire size will be very close to the edge of the fender opening, and will also likely throw a lot of crap up the side of the car! So if you drive on less than stellar roads, you may end up with stone chips down the side of the car from them.

What size wheels do you have, and what rear tires are you going to run? Maybe an alternate size would suit you better. If you're going to do track days with the car, 275/40/17 all around is great. If it just for the street, then maybe not. Tires with that much section width on the front can increase the tendency of the car to pull around in the road ruts too.

cheers
Ed

Thanks Ed,

I already running 275/40r17 Pirelli P7000 Supersport on the rear and
245/45r17 Toyo t1r on the front....

I bought a set of oem Cobra 2004 17x9 with 2 pirelli on it....
It the worst crappy tire I ever try... on wet pavement it's like driving on ice...

I have a full set of oem mach 1 wheels with toyo T1r... but my toyo are done...

I tought I could put 4 x 275 so I could rotate them, but I don't want to chip my paint. it's my daily driver in the summer and I want to make some track...
I will have to go on 245 or 255 on the front ... anyway thanks again fo ryour info!!!
