Front rims sticking out past fenders?

Ok, so I bought 17x8 american racing rims, put 245/45/17 all around, the back looks great but the front sticks out about 2 inches past the fender, dont like the look at all, would I be better off with a 225/45/17 in the front? Thanks!

Do you have a link to the rims you bought? Did your car have spacers before?

No I dont have a link, bought them second hand but they are brand new, the info I recieved is they are American Racing 105m part # is 7765b with 0 offset, 4 inch back spacing. I had originally bought 18 inch 2010 mustang gt rims, bought brand new tires and put them on the car then realized I needed spacers, bought spacers and I didnt like how the car drove so I bought rims that didnt need spacers. Ive read lots of horror stories about spacers and how bad they are on your car, axle bearings and such, I had 1.5 on the back and 1 inch on the front, it looked great.

Your tire size is right, the offset must be the issue. Did you measure all of the wheels? Could they by chance be a staggered set?

On a side note, is a 245/45/17 tire ok on a 17x7 rim?

245 may be a bit wide.
