Looking at some used rims for winter

I am looking at the following to put my winter tires on. I am almost positive they will fit. But being overly paranoid I don't want to get caught by something like bolt pattern or hub not being quite the same from a 2010 set of 18" to a 2013 18" or these not clearing the 2013 calipers or something. Any advise would be great, thanks

I'm 99.9% sure that as long as it's an18" rim from 2005 to current it'll clear the brakes on your 2013.

ok thanks, cause I think I'm buying them, bolt pattern and hub fitment also the same? I would have to think so as American Muscle sells rims for 2010 to 2014 models.

My understanding is that they will fit as long as you don't have the Brembo brakes.

yep no brembos, thanks

I think that AM splits up the years like that mainly because of the change to the newer style TPMS, when they are selling a package.

As mentioned, and OEM Ford S197 Mustang 18" wheel is going to clear the larger 2011-up GT brakes, unless it has the Brembo package. V6 cars got upgraded in 2013 to the 05-10 GT brakes, so they now need at least 17", the 16" doesn't clear. Also applies to 2011-up V6 performance package cars that come on the 255/40R19 summer tires, they got the GT brakes a few years earlier than the rest of the V6 cars.

I'm not sure Ed but I thought the brake upgrade happened in 2010, My year got everything upgraded that the 11's got except the engine and trans :(.

So all in all I'm good to go as far as fitment all that may not be good is the tpms but if these wheels are 2010's then the tpms should be good( if they come with) with my 2013? Thanks

Nope, it was 2011 when the 5.0L started, that the GT got the 13.2" front brakes vs. the previous 12.4". 2010 was the year for the cosmetic change, 2011 the mechanical stuff. Also revised suspension stuff in 2011, stab. bar sizes and other minor changes.

Yes, 2010 is when Ford switched to the valve stem mounted TPMS sensors on the Mustang, so the sensors on those wheels can be trained to work on your 2013.
