You want to do a job right, you've got to do it yourself. :D Nice wheels Ray, and when other people start paying for your mods, then you can start to care what they think. Who gave you the $300 for the damaged set, the company you bought from I'm guessing ? That's not terrible, I'm guessing you're getting your tires swapped over at the same time.
http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...k-machined.jpg With mount and balance plus the new TMPS System along with the gift to the government the cost comes to $713.67. I like your view that when people start paying for my mods they can care about what is done to the GT. |
Those should look nice. So I take it that you're staying with 18" so that you can use your existing tires?
cheers Ed |

Congrats Ray, looks good. Not my taste, but it does have a five spoke theme going, at least they're not spinners. lol

Looks good Ray, You better get some lock nuts on them. You never know, I might decide to go for a drive one day and come by. By the time I get there I might need some new wheels. :D But, if you have a shotgun full of rock salt hanging out the window. That would be another story.

This has me intrigued, how does it work?
If you look at this pic you will notice an Allen Key type lock that has to be removed by an Allen Key tool before removing the center cap to access the lug nuts. This is similar on my new wheels. I would imagine that with a bit of effort the Allen Key lock might be abled to be removed prior to getting to the lug nuts but with the Ford alarm going off it might not be that easy. It would appear that any would be thief would require having the right size Allen Key available before removing the lug nuts. |
