TPMS Question

Can anyone tell me if these sensors will work on my 2009 Mustang with 2012 rims?
Part # TPMS – 12 – 9L3Z – 1A189 – A
Does the 09 Mustang have 315 MHZ TPM signal frequency?

I got my answer, they will only work on the 2010 and up.
Now my question is: What TPMS do I need?

I was talking to a wheel shop and he told me that they could copy the sensor and it would cost $50.00 a sensor not sure how they would do it tho

Not sure what is going on.

Since I last posted in this thread, I bought some 18" rims & tires with TPMS take offs off a 2014 Club of America Mustang. So I won't be going with the 2012 rims. I have put the new tires & rims on my car. I didn't have the TPMS's changed out yet. I have put just over 100 Km's on and the warning light for the TPMS has not come on. Just wondering what's going on. :? I know when I change the tires over to winter tires on my wife's car the light will come on after just a couple of Km's. But that's a GM, is Ford different?
I'm going to keep the TPMS package that I bought from AM just in case the light comes on. Any thoughts on this?

2010-up Mustang uses the valve stem sensors, earlier ones are banded to the wheel. They operate differently ... so if you want to use OEM Ford sensors on an 09, you need the banded type. There are aftermarket valve stem style sensors that are compatible with the earlier system, I assume that's what you have from AM.

cheers
Ed
