Ac delete pulley
Has anyone done an ac delete kit for there mustang? I have been thinking about doing one. The ford racing kit is about $45 and might free up a few ponies but I was mainly thinking about the weight saving of removing my entire air conditioning system , lines and all. I am driving convertible so whenever I need ac the top is down usually anyways and I figured $50 and a few hrs of work might be a decent upgrade ? Any thoughts or has anyone down this mod before ?

I agree with ChadStang, unless you do plan on keeping the car forever.

Well i have owned the car for about 6.5 yrs now and i still plan to drop another 20-25k into it to finish it so if i ever do decide to sell it i am going to loose a ridiculous amount anyways.I just bought a new daily driver two weeks ago and i dont ever see myself selling the stang.Even with my new car i still wish i was driving the mustang right now :)

^^^ That a boy. Keep that stang where it belongs. In you're garage. :) Finish it. I would say keep the A/C though. One rain storm on a hot and smoggy day and you'll be happy you kept it. If you plan on making it a track car then rip that $h!# out. :tup
