Need you to answer the rest of my questions so that I can get a better picture of what is happening.

Is it currently knocking right now with 87 and 87 tune? Are you only experiencing this knock on hot days?

I will look into the fan settings and thermostat.

until yesterday

I was running the 87 tune, with 87 gas, and with the cold weather I had very minimal knocking, only if I sat idling for a very long time I would get slight knock, but once I got some cold air moving over her ( I assume a colder charge in the air intake) It was gone..

In the summer when it got hot however I it was hard to stop it from knocking unless I was easy on it, or higher rpm.. Also if I was idling for a long time, then I rev'd it quick it would knock for a second.

Ok, now this really seems like a heat issue. Let me look into the fan settings for you. We will try that first before changeing the thermostate. Now do you know if your fans come on at all say when your idling for a long time or on hot days.

Take a look at the user manual, what does it recommend for changing fan values. I ask this because I do not have a manual to look at.

Cheers

Yes it does seem very heat oriented, thinking back I am not sure if it ever did it when cold... I wont know until next summer. I dont have a manual either, anyone chime in?
