does an maf effect performance?

hi, i have this mustang i just bought and it has pointless mods on it. like it had 30psi injectors in it with only a cold air and throttle body mod. so i took the 30's out and put the 19's back into it cause we all know its not putting out over 300 hp. sense i done that my milage has improved a little and my idle doesnt fluctuate anymore. instead when it idles it sounds like it has a rough muscle cam in it. and from as far as i know it doesnt. and im not sure if its the traction control or if its something else. but when i bunch it cause i need to move it goes then falls on its face then goes again and doesnt do it again. (then i get mad and stop and try to make it do it again to figure out if its something or the traction control kickin in, but it doesnt do anything funny runs good, then i get madder). sorry im long winded. but this car also has a 90mm maf on it. and from my understanding the car doesnt have any tuning for any of the mods. is there a way i can find out if it has been tuned without going to a dyno cause they are kinda hard to find and expensive. so is it doing this cause its not tuned or cause i have this large maf on it and the stock injectors back in?:suicid e:

I'm pretty sure the maf sensor needs to be calibrated to the injectors you have. With stock injectors you will need a stock maf, or one setup for stock injectors.

You could swing by Vermilion Ford and ask them for advice. Just a thought.

"platinum is stock. But what are they gapped for?" i have no idea what they are gapped for and dont know how to tell... can the numbers on the side of the plug tell me that?? feel like a retard fr asking but i got to lear sometime.

im not really a big fan of webbs ford. and i wanna save money, in the idea of doing it myself.. i wanna learn more. so doing it myself is the best way i can learn. can i ask who you are to webbs? just so im at a clear understanding about your statement.
