Mustang Gt 2006 4.6L

Hi everyone,

I am just wondering.

I already have a cold air intake system with the predator and the microchip.

1. Beside the predator system, what else could I get to make my car a bit faster but not to expensive and without consuming more gas?

Diablosport predator is a hand held tuner
unless your going to go with longtube headers which are a bitch to install exhaust wont do much!

Is your car tuned for regular gas or supreme?
If you are on an 87 octane tune you will gain by going to a 92-94 octane tune.

Other than that,
Steeda or Roush ud pullies (around $225 fairly easy install),
gears (under $200 but a detailed install to do it right will cost a few $$),
Steeda charge motion control plates ($350 and a not too hard install),
62mm throttle body (around $350 and an easy install but ideally a new tune to realize more gains)
long tubes (around $500+ and install can be tough and you will need another mid pipe for an extra $300 or so).

The headers are a bit of money but if you able to install them yourself or know a good mechanic who works on the side for cash it can be less painful money wise.
The beauty of the headers though is that with a good tune afterwards you will be hard pressed to get the smile off your face due to the performance as well as the sound.

The pullies will add a few hp that you may or may not feel and the gears will definitely wake your car up but of course will not add any hp. The charge plates are said to deliver 10 hp.

Gears is the best bang for the buck.Mileage isn't really effected either, reason, you are not working the engine as hard, now if your constantly on the throttle, then yeah, bye bye fuel!!....no matter if it is stock geared,or aftermarket geared.
Good starting mods are Cat back, well in your case axle back exhaust, pulleys, cold air intake, gears, and a tune.
But....we don't buy mustangs cause we worry about fuel do we!!
