notching pistons on 4.6l 2v npi block

I have a 96 gt with npi block and i am getting ready to put my ported complete pi heads on. I already have the pi intake manifold and plenty of bolt-ons and 4;10 gears. I was woundering if it is worth my wild to notch the pistons so i dont have ptv problems if i decide to go to a comp stage 2 cam , is it worth it and worth the money or should i leave it alone.....need your feed back guys.

Thanks

From what i read out there over the years, especially during the 2V height in the late 2000's when it came to cam swaps, yes, your gonna want to with your non PI short block. It will be close as it is with the stage I's. There are guys out there that were having PTV issuses with the PI engines.
I take it you will be doing all this install with the short block in the car still?

Why are you running PI cams first? It would be a real pita to have to do the cams after it's all back together again.

i found out threw another guy a company that sells new valves so that you dont run into ptv issues with the pi head swap on a npi block and even gives you clearence so you can run any cam , plus they are cheap too

Got a link? Interested to see how they change the valve design to accomplish this.
