over sized jets

im new to this site and still trying to figure everything out so i hope i do this right. i just bought a 2003 gt mustang last week. its not my first mustang but its my first v8 my other is only a pony. but this guy i bought it off is an older guy who liked to do everything himself. it has things i wanted to put on anyways like cold air intake and throttle body and spacer. but my engine light is on and my idle bounces around between 600 and 900. i have been looking more into the work he has done and its got crap on it like surge performance modules in the wires to the rear o2 sensor and a lightenin performance mod on the intake instead of a iat sensor. that stuff is ok cause im working on fixing that. but my big concern is the 30 lbs injectors on it and i dont believe it has a programmer or a different cam... what do i need to do to get this new jets working to their full potential?

Welcome aboard!
Unless their is some sort of power adder,i'm wondering why it has 30lb injectors.
I could see 24lbs.You definitely need to have a tune done by the sounds of things.Good luck.

of your gt? mine. i know that im the third owner and the to previous owners bought the car from dealerships. i have the window stickers for it from its original purchase. im not sure what to say. everything thats been done to it has been done by the owner i bought it off of. and he was a real do it yourselfer. its an 03 with only 93000 on it. the guy is a sacratary treasurer for a school. so from my understanding of things and the way he was and how i seen it driven around town.. it hasn't been bagged. my fuel milage and the pulsing idle is what is really bothering me. i got a iat sensor but the wrong wire harness so that has my engine light triggered and i just cut my cats out and was going to get 02 simulators put in to fix the o2 problem that he created and tiggered the engine light for that too.. i have 3 codes setting it off right now. 2 for the o2 sensors and one for to cold of intake...
