They are an improvement over the NPI intake for sure, not a huge amount of a difference, but i believe enough for the seat out of the pants feel!
They do fit,but you need to use some extra RTV sealant where the ports don't match, and that is where i would question it as the dried up RTV sealant would eventually break free into the cylinder head,....in my thoughts anyways!

I've personnaly done it to my old 4.6 2v
it's a pretty easy swap, worth it in higher rpm.
As for RTV, if you use good rtv, you won't have any leak.
If you need help for the swap, feel free to ask ! I've some pictures too .
If you want a good feeling, do the cams/intake swap. not so hard and you really feel the difference !

What if you do some port matching?

Thinking about doing this.. there some other threads I've read with lots of good feedback.

If you are talking about porting the intake, there is no way!Not enough material to even try.
If you are talking about porting the cylinder heads, your better off to get the P.I heads since you will have to pull your heads off anyways to port them.

Yeah I was talking about the heads.. and all together it would probably round up to the same price as buying the heads anyway.

It if were me,i would hold out and do the pi head intake, and swap at once.
My buddy did it to his '97 GT,ported pi heads, with stock pi cams,pi intake with stock non pi lshort block, and with a custom tune,he hit just over 260 hp,and 300 so ft-lbs.
Should be a thread here by Steeda on it.I will see if i can find it.

Edit,found it....
