Underdrive Pulleys.

All I see around is Steeda and BBK.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with March Underdrive pulleys?

I can buy them locally.

Being that your GT is a 4.6L,ONLY USE STEEDA's underdrive pulleys, they are not piggy backs like all the other brands for the 4.6L.

I used March piggybacks on my 4.6 for a long time and had no problems with them. I liked the piggybacks because they retained the factory damper which can be very important for the health and life of the oil pump gears.

Steeda's are built to SFI,and to Fords quality standards!(if that is a good thing....:biggrin
That is why Steeda's are always highly recommended. The piggy back too can cause oil pump gear failure if you look at it that way, seeing that it puts the dampner further away/out to where it was balanced, and not knowing how well balanced the piggy back style pulley is since they are just machined off a machine. It's all a matter of opinion, and preference really.

The price difference is due to the design,so basically the dampner pulley, the other two pulleys are basically the same. The piggy back style is a thin plate style pulley that the stock dampner bolts too,the Steeda dampner pulley is a real dampner pulley that replaces the stock dampner pulley.
Like what was told to me,you pay for what you get.
Here is some info off Steeda's site about there pulleys!
Product Details
Steeda's is the leader in underdrive pulley design for the 4.6L engines. Steeda was the first to achieve SFI approval on our underdrive pulleys for all 4.6L engines. Our underdrive pulleys are the only pulleys engineered through our unique partnership in Ford's technology transfer program to have the proper torsional vibration dampening characteristics for your 4.6L engine. No other manufacturer can make this claim.
Don't be fooled by other manufacturer's and their "state of the art" process claims. Steeda uses the latest technology directly from O.E. sources. Steeda's crank pulley is a one piece nodular iron, injection molded rubber design. Not a cheap "piggyback" design like many of our competitors use. Special rubber materials were chosen for their ability to absorb the torsional vibrations and their ability to withstand underhood temperatures.
Their dampner pulley is basically like the stock dampner pulley, but yet better.
It's your engine...so it's up to you.Just trying to help!

Yeah, the 5.0L underdrive pulleys are basically the same in design from all companies, but their materials differ from one another, with the 4.6L,it doesn't work that way.
