a friend of mine blew his motor.
in the end, all he needs is a bottom end (short block)
is there anyone in canada who specializes in rebuild or should i get it done in the US.
the car is heavily equipped with a kenne bell etc.........
he was told by a couple of shop to also get a stroker kit instead.
what r your thoughts

Are you kidding? There are tons of shops in Canada capable of doing this,..... I can`t believe you would even think it might have to goto the US,..... I`m from the GTA I know of at least a few here that could do it,...... DaSilva Performance,..... Mustang Specialtiez,......... There`s a couple others,.......

 

Is this a 5.0, or a 4.6?

Damn I cant think of a few off the top of my head, Steeda, DaSilvas, PSP, Miesner motorsports, MGW, The Mustang Shop, etc....thats just off the top of my head without even thinking about it lol

Derkzenmotorsports@bellnet.ca. Our website was rebuilt thursday and is having some problems. But you can check it out anyway DERKZEN MOTORSPORTS. One of the projects we are currently working on is a 2003 lightning we tuned it to 500hp at the wheels a year ago and now the owner wants to produce 1000. We are sleeving and stroking the 5.4L and upgrading the supercharger/heads cams trans etc. I am a ford certified senior (that doesn't mean I am old) technician and I have extensive road and drag racing experience.
