Chips..are they snake oil ??

I came across this..Ford Mustang 2007 Gas Fuel Saver Power Performance Chip on eBay.ca (item 350230011462 end time 28-Jul-09 23:16:47 EDT)

I have gone into his feedback and it is very positive..

Has anyone used one of there ???

chips aren't snake oil, they're a neccessity for tuning

but no-name products like that are bullshiat and don't plug them anywhere near your car

imo....stay away from the plug and play shiat (aka - she's on the dyno when playing with the tune), and stick with the notable suppliers in the Stang hobby like SCT etc

those "chips" are just little POS resistors that trick sensors into giving false readings.. do a little googling and you'll get the truth on them. I can't remember all the details but they are horrible for your car. My neighbor picked one up. I sent him a few links. He threw it away.

Don't skimp. If you want to properly tune your vehicle - SCT, Diablosport, etc are the way to go.
