Cold Air Intake

Put a Rouch Cold Air Intake on the 08 Gt It has BMRP exhaust and there was no tune. Car responded wonderfully for sound and throttle response.
Un less I am going to do other things to the engine no need to tune.

I recommend the FRPP Bullit cai with a Bama 91 octane race tune.
I have it, it looks great and I am very satisfied with the performance.
A nice surprise is that under load the exhaust is now a fair bit louder and not in a negative way.

read Kenne Bells tech notes on cold air intakes, very good info,I think the main idea is to isolate the under hood temperature from the intake,so you must have a sheild to seperate the hot air from air drawn in,I've got the outside air ducted in to feed the intake, I cut holes in lower grille same route for brake cooling, ran tubing under air filter ,I bought the BBK system works fine no tune needed.

You will love it, who did you get an email tune from? I got brenspeed and around 3300ish rpm it just starts to pull best tune i've had!

I bought the tuner used but I am going to enroll in the tunes for life deal with American muscle... Then once I finish piecing the motor together I am going for a dyno tune and be done with it

I have added the K&N CAI Steeda under drive pulley's and Cherry Bomb exhaust. I changed the stock hood and replaced it with a GT 500 and the arch that is in it in the front allows for a lot more air flow into the engine compartment. With the stock GT Grill this new hood really looks good. With the add on parts I now have would a tune make a difference?

Thanks,

Karl

A tune would make a difference on most all 05-09's that are bone stock.

The parts you just listed do not require a tune but imo you would likely feel a difference from getting a tune regardless.
