Need to know what plugs are the best.

I need a set of new plugs for my 05 GT. I was wondering what are the best to buy. I'm N/A so I'm sticking to the stock heat range. With the cost of the high thread plugs I want to make a good choice the first time. What does everyone run in their rides?

Close to 600 Horse, and still using the factory Motorcrafts.....
Stay with OEM Motorcrafts.

Best of luck

I just replaced mine in the fall and stuck with Motorcrafts. The guys and gals were right. Change the wires - but keep factory plugs.

Its best you gap them as well cause they don't come pre-gapped, some were in your engine bay it will tell you your gap settings most likely on the rad cover.
I know my factory 94 5.0L was 0.052"

Hope this helps best of luck

At first I was going to put in the stock motorcrafts but i have heard some horror stories. In 05-06 mustang 3V they but in special high thread plugs that are a two piece design. These are known for breaking off in the head (the bottom part under the threads). If I went with a set of champions they are a one piece design and I know that they will come out the same way they went in, in one piece. The bottom of the plugs get carbon build-up which will hold them in place. The ford TSB acually says to loosen them 1/4 turn then spray them with carb cleaner and let in soak in for 15 min. I am almost positive they should be gapped to .045 but i will double check.

On the bright side I have coil-on-plug ignition and never have to worry bout wires.
