what kinda 1/4 times would this combo run?

hi guys, im looking at buying a 2005 GT coupe with low km's and it will be getting supercharged or turboed as soon as i get it but im curious as to what kinda numbers it would run with the following setup:

KB or Whipple twin screw intercooled
long tubes with some kind of x/h pipe (catted)
cat back
dyno tune
CAI

thanks guys,

Dustin

With that setup you had better think about dr's or all you will do is spin through 2nd. Otherwise out your way I will say high 11's if you can drive her.

Definitely gonna need some better tires or you'll just be a burnout machine.

thanks for the replies gentleman, yes i forgot to add that the car will have either DR's or slicks of some kind and yes i realize after that theres no saying how long before something breaks in the rear etc etc i just wanted to get a ballpark idea of what these cars run in that scenario as thats usually what all my cars have been treated to in the past cheers

With a good tire you should see some elevens. It will also depend on you as a driver aswell with cutting good lights, and getting good sixty footers.

ok thanks guys, i just wanted to know roughly where i would be sitting with those mods......im sure most of you would suggest building the bottom end up for longevity correct? what kinda power numbers can the 3V 4.6 safely take? of course i realize it depends how hard you are on it but assume im driving reasonably. thanks

Definately look into tires/suspension with that setup. Power is the last thing you should upgrade IMO. I've seen cars with 300whp in the 11's with proper driver/car setup

Don't forget to buy some rear end gears to punch up that bottem end if you're looking for a better quarter mile time. Nice set of 4.10's or 4.56's would make that 500 hp KB driven monster haul into the 11's no problem, and that's driving reasonably.

Welcome to the site dude.

^^^^ x 2 on everything everyone has said. With a nice set of shoes for your Stang, you'll be tearing up the 1/4 mile.
