Probably not but it wouldn't hurt. If you pull your air intake off and inspect inside of it you will know for sure.

Haha that might be a good idea then. I don't think you will really have an issue as from what I gather you aren't into the boost very often.

that is the truth 100%. Being completely honest I will say I have been into boost maybe 10 times in 3 summers. I assume that's not to often lol

If that's the case I wouldn't even pull the hose off to look. You should be fine. That is one sound I am going to miss is hitting boost with an Eaton. The Vortech sounds cool at idle though.

Our Eatons don't whistle when idling which is a shame. I love the sound personally

^ with an open element filter and the hood open they make a little noise but not like a centrifugal unit.
