289 4v Intake Manifold Casting Repairs?

Hi.

I have a small leak at the thermostat, so I decided to replace the gasket. When I opened up the housing, I saw that the intake manifold mating surface for the stat has really bad erosion of the lower flange to the point where there is less than 1/8" of good 'flat' flange surface left. Not enough to get good seal. SO - the question is: Is there a way to repair the manifold with something like JBWeld, etc. or do I need to replace the manifold altogether?

Anyone else encounter something like this?

Thanks,

RR.

The cost of set up and remachining could be more than replacing it.
If you can't find one PM me, have a good one, clean painted and ready to go
