4.6-What to mod first?

I've been looking for a list of what to do to the GT and in which order. Sure, many people say gears or exhaust so let's complile a list of mods and maybe it can serve as a helper for those looking to mod their 4.6 I know I could use such a list

One of the mod common things I keep hearing is EXHAUST. Mainly a cat-back type system....what else?

Gears are known to be the best bang for the buck so I would say gears next or possibly even first? All depends on your budget.

It also depends on what you are trying to improve: power, handling, sound system

The first thing I would recommend would be a set of sub-frame connectors. Incredible improvement in handling, but helps on the power side by helping more ponies make it to the ground.

Gears, Exhaust...you can remove the air flange for free, to allow more air in if it hasnt been done...after that maybe some pullies, CAI...T/B...timing adjuster...as stated depends on what your looking for...the car could also use some sub frames...

On a SN95 chassis, first do subframes, followed by gears. Timing adjuster and underdrive pulleys, along with a cat back, high flow h-pipe and long tubes

and then when you still find you don't have enough power, a 324 big bore stroker from VT

If you are eventually going to get a chip or programmer do not get timing adjuster, it will be useless once you install chip or programmer.

So the list so far:

-Subframe Connectors
-Gears
-Cat-Back Exhaust
-Underdrive Pullies
-Timing Adjuster or Chip
-Cold Air Intake
-Throttle Body
-Intake Plenum
-High Flow H or X
-Long Tube Headers

And the list continues......

First thing I would do would be exhaust. If you have the money do the catback if not just do mufflers. I put 40 series 2 chamber mufflers on my car with the stock exhaust and it sounded really good. I have sound clips of it if you want to hear them.

Next thing I would do would be gears.
