cam on stock cobra 97
 

Hi all!

What you guys think about upgrade cam on a stock cobra 97

Is it a good move? How much hp and tq I could expect??

What kind of cam: shm, crower, comp, any other??

Nothing tech here but I do love love sound of a moderate to aggressive cam.

gfong has done them in his 4V 4.6L '03 Mach 1,and seems to work well for him,and the sound is awesome!
My tip to you is do a lot of research from many modular web forums,even if the threads/topics are old,there is still lots of good info to help you out on what is best for you from guys that did,or are doing this in real world expirirence,not magazine expirience LOL!
I went threw a similar things a long while ago with my GT when looking at cams,but at that time,guys were running the 2V 4.6L GT's everywhere accross the modular interweb unlike today where the 3V 4.6's,and the current 5.0L,and the GT500's,and '03/'04 Cobra's are the norm.

They aren't cheap, especially when you need 4
