Question Good deal??!

Hey guys a guy local to me has offered me an 03 Cobra motor with about 11,00kms on it. It comes with the 03 block, forged Manley pistons, forged crank, bearings, bolts & hardware etc. No rods or heads etc. He would like 1000$ for it. Do you think that its worth it!? Because if it is I want to start a build for my GT. Would I be able to use the accessories and stuff from my GT? Thanks!

Is there any specific way I can identify that the pistons are in fact Manley's? And how do I tell if the crank is the forged stock cobra crank? Thanks guys
