High idle after plenum install

I just installed a plenum and tb for a friend and the car is idling higher than normal. I've heard that sometimes the bracket that holds the throttle cable is set to far over....is that the case?

I had to drill out my bracket to make it fit correctly after the Dragon plenum install, so that might be what you have to do.

Get a can of carb/throttle body cleaner and spray around the base of the plenum and the TB. If the idle rises further then you have a vacuum leak. Either you didnt seal the plenum properly or you missed a vacuum hose. If none of that works then try resetting the computer by disconnecting the negative terminal, let it sit for 15 minutes then go back and start.

In my case, I called Dragon (they were very helpful) and even offered to take the unit back and send me another. A little alteration to the bracket was needed but it works fantastic now.
