i think the guy that told me was mister transmision, they are the ones that installed my gears.(but he might be full of crap) :1:

 

A chip can only rectify for a gear swap on 99+ cars. You will need a speedo gear or a speedcal.

 

Some 96-98 cars had the speedo controls via EEC, but they are rarely seen. You will need a tranny gear. A chip/tuner is a great investment though
