RT engines------------If it doesn't have NOS its a stone
If you want the true flow numbers then flow it on a superflow 1020
There's only 2 in ontario, and there not at BLUNDERZ

i would prefer to goto blunderz than be a do it yourselfer in the garage with a dremel. The numbers i seen off MTOs car impressed me... i am sure there are other REAL porting shops out there, Ive just never dealt with them myself.

i'm a "do it yourselfer" who works out of my garage. i read up tons on how to do it and have been shown how to do it by a few people, i expext my gains should be as much if not more then many porting shops who do it by hand.
then again i did invest over $800 to get started in it but i think it will be worth it, plus now i can do other peoples heads.

How do you know your porting is done correctly? Do you flow your work before and after ?

MTO, isn't your car a 302?
I can port pushrod heads, but I have not ever touched a set of modular heads. Only thin I can suggest is dont make the intake runner too smooth, you want the air to tumble for better fuel atomization.
Good luck let us know how they turn out.

Yeah it's a 302. I don't know if Rolling Thunderz does modulars, but I've heard about happy customers who've used Fox Lake and been happy with their results. I know they deal with modulars.
Rolling Thunderz has quite an impressive shop with all the state of the art equipment. Some of the people that work there aren't my favorite but they certainly know their stuff when it comes to science of porting and polishing.

well since snow is going to fall and i'm in no rush to put the motor back together i'll put them on a flow bench but i know they will flow better, everything is blended properly and the flash casting is removed, gasket matched. but yeah i'll put them on a flow bench.
