Question Spindles to lower

Hi.
A bud of mine in KC has the a DSG Mach1 to.
We exchange thoughts of certain things we want to do.
Currently we both are on a thought of lowering our Machs to get rid of the 4x4 stance.

He gave me this website click me as this is the route he is probably taking. (spindles)

I have no experience with this idea and was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this way to lower the ride height.

On the GTAMC board it was posted that the rear of the car will still have to be evalutated to get an even ride height.

This is new to my mind and I was hoping someone can help me understand what the spindles can do. (from reading the website, it looks like I keep the existing shocks / springs when I switch to this, correct?)

Thanks in advance to all replies.

Hmmm, I've never seen drop spindles for a mustang. Most people just lower with springs. A 2" drop is quite a bit, might not be the friendliest around town with speedbumps etc. Looks like you'd need springs for the rear anyway.

All you really need are springs for your car cuz your shocks and struts are tokikos (sp?) if im not mistaken. Just pickup some eibach springs, there like around $400 new I think

If you go on there website you can see the couple different types of springs they have for mustangs

Performance Springs are that! Will lower the Stang .5 inches thru to 2.5 and will increase or decrease Spring Rate's depending on Application. For Performance application's.

Lowering Spindle. Thats it! Lowers the Stang by droping the location of the axle in the spindle. higher then OEM, thus dropping the Mustang.
Thats it!

The only advantage to this is lowering the center of gravity.

Neutral ..you maintain suspension Travel

Disadvantage this extra travel might allow your Mach to smack the ground over bumps.

I believe up to 1.25 inches you can lower using spindles without changing the Geometery.

2" inches static is Alot! and the Price! $$

H&R's look great! so do the Eibachs! Cheap! and you can Keep you OEM Tokico's get the Agressive Rake/look and Hit the twisties with confidence!

Hope this helps!!!!
