I am running a 351w, its 600cfm holley on a single plane weiland intake. Boss 302 cam heads have a 3 angle valve job. approx 300bhp

My next project will be running a 351W!

I bot the 82 from 5.8SLEEPER (Orangeville) on GTAMC this summer for a street beater, it's caged & tied, 1/2 assed built 351W, stock C-4 (junk), 4.10's. Everything was supposed to be brand new rebuilt, but I spun the main & rod bearings within 200 miles, which may have a good thing cuz the convertor fell out of it when it came apart. :mad: Now the new engine from the 86 Capri (racecar) is in it just to see how it will run, this combo livened the car up a tad :rolleyes:: fresh 351W, 30 over, (357), 9-1 forged dished pistons, Comp hyd roller, 576 lift & 244 duration, Ultra Pro Magnum 1.6 RR's, Dart Pro1, 195cc heads, Vic Jr. & 825 Demon, 1 3/4 BBK LT's, MSD box, 2 step etc. The C-4 is a PA SuperComp equivalent, reverse valve, trans brake etc., freshened by Jack @ Sepanek Racing Trans, he hooked me up with Frank Lupos @ Dynamic Convertors & they decided (based on the build specs) to stall the convertor @ 5000 (yikes!!). The 8.8 in the racecar has a spool, 33 spline Strange axles, c-clip elim, anti-roll bar, adjustable uppers etc. (changes expected). The body is gettin blasted, lookin for glass hood, doors, hatch & lexan windows & ?? Hope to have the car ready for the engine & trans by this summer.:tup Did you think this might be ZM's missing Capri? :) |

i just got a 351w to replace the 5.0 that replaced the 2.3!. wrapped in plastic ready for santa to finish off. i bought the ford racing oil pan kit, i've got an edelbrock 750 performer ready to drop on. just need the intake , dizzy, flywheel, and some minor pieces. should make this side of 400hp.:chacha:
any info or posts on 351w would be a big help.i'll update and document the build with pics. |

Hey crash... Got some old windsheilds from my race car (mini stock) Not perfect but you might be able to use them... good for the track at least

There lexan... we have to run that stuff on the track... I'll check the shop for spare sheets of it if your looking for the side windows to. We only use windshields... And like I said, they have to be lexan

That could work out well, Matticus is lookin for a 5L block plate & I told him I got one he can have & Ian's givin him a set of oil pan bars, if I was goin up ur way, I could drop the stuff off at his place in Ancaster..... hmmmm :) |

Well at the present time i'am not sure what i will be running, I have the original 289, a couple of 302's one with a roller cam, and i have a 351w sitting on the shelf,, will see once i get the body finished off which way i go..

what info are you looking for on 351 Windsor's? I have a Windsor sitting at the shop that I'm tearing down and will be building up within the next couple of years. It will be a 393 stroker with a blow through supercharger!

well i got a 351W sitting here with 110,000 km was fuel injected, but have the fuel pump timing cover, and 4bbl intake and carb for it..
