Aluminum Heads

So I pretty much all installed, and now I'm looking for heads. I currently have a Holley System Max intake manifold. A friend of mine suggested me ProComps heads (CYLINDER HEADS FORD 302/351W/5.0/MUSTANG 210cc ASSEMBLD on eBay.ca (item 330372895853 end time 06-Nov-09 13:01:14 EST)) and I wanted to know your experience with different brand. Are there any brand to stay away from? Also, what kind of cams/Roller are better for everyday driving? 2 of my friends installed Trickflow's and they had Pushrod trouble ?

Ive only ran edelbrock heads with adj roller rockers. Rockers can get loud and may need to be adjusted in the future though.

I can't say I have had any real issues with the heads.

TFS, Eddie, AFRs are usually all great heads.

GT40s are good too if on a budget...

But is there any good cams to install on a car without heads? I heard about the X-303, some say good some say not...

X cam has a higher RPM range. If you are driving daily you will be reving to get into the power band.

stay away from those pro comp heads got a pair for cheap rebuild ended up having to mill 30 off one head because chamber in other was so much small ended up costing more than my set of afrs was not happy and guy was a real dick about it when i called think it is same guy you are looking to buy from spring rate was not even close to what he said but i could just be one unlucky buyer.IF you want to get a great head for cheap check these out FLOO TEX put set on truck wow could not believe how good they are and no issues check them out like 800 bucks

B303 is a good street cam. You might have some issues if you need an e-test and have a b cam. We pull timing back to 8 degrees and can normaly sneak through if the car is running well.
