13.67@101.52.Just starting to get the thing dialed in.

Any progress?

89LXStang 08-21-2006 03:50 PM

Checked the coils I have both gave .07 ohms on the primary side and they gave 2.95 for one and 8.21 for the other on the secondary side of things. Are they both no good? The one I had in the other day was the one that had .07 and 2.95.But neither will start the car.

Are you measuring across the terminals or to the tower?

89LXStang 08-21-2006 03:59 PM

Across the terminals plus and minus for the .07 reading. And the other is minus to the tower right?

Have you pulled the plugs or checked for spark yet?

89LXStang 08-21-2006 04:08 PM

All the plugs look great and zero on the spark.

Ponyryd 08-21-2006 04:09 PM

The plugs had no fuel on them?

89LXStang 08-21-2006 04:10 PM

Nope. But my gauge shows lots of pressure.

You say you used another distributor, are you sure it was working? The ignition module controls fuel injector pulse and sends the feed to the coil. If you have no fuel on the plugs and no spark, I would then guess that you have no injector pulse because if you did, the plugs should be wet. What I would do is, either install the ignition module you know is good on the other distributor and check for spark, or dissassemble your distributor and look for broken parts inside. what you should do first is get yourself a spark tester and a test light so you can check for the proper feeds.
