The other dist was working when it came out of the car it was in.Guess I'll do somemore messing around with it.Thanks

Well got it figured out.It was in the steering column.Red wire had come out of the ignition switch connector.Re crimped it put it back in and it fired up.Thanks for all your help Ponyryd........... :thumb1:

Looks like you have no spark from what you are saying. Check the distributor and sparkplugs, and wires. I always check the most common problems.

Been there done that check posts cured.
