Question Coolant drain?

I'm going to be winterizing my car soon, so that means draining the water from the rad, and putting some antifreeze in instead. Can someone tell me how to completely drain the coolant system, as opposed to just draining the rad?

Thanks for any help

There are plugs on the side of the block that you can remove to drain the block but why not just drain the rad down a bit and add the antifreeze Drive around some to make sure its mixed up good, buy a tester at CT. and check that you have enough antifreeze in the mix?
