did the intakes. . . now the motor is Fu@%$!!

yeah, i would say. . . after he changed the intakes before he changed the oil he started it up and let it idle, most likely coolant got into the pan and screwed the bearing. . . . droped the cross member and trannymount and found out where my tranny leak was comming from, about two inches under the speed sensor there is a hairline crack about 3inches long. . . you cant even see the crack but the fluid just bleeds right through it.
im assuming you can just unbolt the tailshaft and bolt another one on, hopefully they are half plentyful so i dont have to pay an arm and a leg for one. . . i may just aluminum weld it. . . It must have cracked from the bad vibration, i think caused by the play in the front u-joint. . . anyways I bought the shortblock and alum. drive shaft last week. . . just waiting for my freind to get his srt-4 back together so we can put mine in the garage and swap em. . . .

I blew out my main bearings in my 94 last spring from a popped head gasket/coolant in my oil, swapping engines in these cars isn't that hard to do. It was the first engine swap I had ever done and I didn't run into any problems doing mine
