Forged Pistons

Up to what year did the 302 have forged pistons? Also how much more HP do the 87-92 302,s have to the 94-95- 302 Mustang GT?

I'm pretty sure 88-92 was 225hp and the 94-95 was 215hp.

I heard they adjusted the numbers after 93 so in fact my 90 really had 215 as well

I know that the Fram oil filter is no good. What type of oil filter do you guys use on your Mustang?

I always use Motorcraft filters

Thanks-I just did an oil change yesterday I went with Castrol Edge Synthtic 5/30 plus I used a Ouicker State oil filter. I googled it and its a good one.

Me as well. I was actually going to use Mobil 1 synthetic oil for the very first oil change on the '12, but after reading up on the Motorcraft I went with Motorcraft full synthetic and Motorcraft filter.
