foxbody mustang tranny manual swap

i was thinking of buying a foxbody as my 1st car. their cheap as hell and have alot of potential. i found one for a good price but it is automatic. i was just wondering if it would be expensive to swap over to a manual tranny. Also how much would a 5 speed tranny cost? and how much do you think labor would cost?? thanks.

Here's a nice foxbody pic for your troubles.

If you use all used parts and pay for an install it will cost you around $1,500. You also need some one who really knows the Fox's and has done this conversion before.

You need:
- T5
- Pedals
- Pedal Pads
- Clutch and Pressure Plate
- Throwout Bearing
- Clutch Fork
- Pilot Bearing
- Clutch Cable
- Bell housing
- Clutch quadrant
- Shifter
- Shifter boot
- Console plate
- Shifter ****
- Flywheel
- Flywheel Bolts

You can modify an AOD cross member to work with the T5.

All used parts can be a real crap shoot so be careful.
