Hi guys! I was just wondering how many litres of gas can my 1989 Mustang GT vert contain and in normal driving with a 5 speeds, how many km's can you get out of a full tank with your 5.0 approx?? So far I've burned only 1 full tank in mine and it was with the AOD( now swapped T-5) and jumping on it a few times( ;o) ) I got about about 250 km out of it...Now has the T-5 and just filled her up, being nice on the gas pedal...

For the records, I am not whining about my Mustang getting bad gas mileage, I don't care, I am curious about the average gas mileage on these cars when driven "normally"...

 

around 60 litres I believe. 250km seems awful low, unless you were just putting around town. That's like 24L per 100km or 10 miles per gallon if I used the calculator right :s

 

60 litres??? It was almost empty( according to the guage) when I filled her up yesterday and I was only able to put 39 litres...There must be something wrong with my guage...

 

^^^Maybe I'm way off then, I'm not a fox pro, I'm sure someone will chime in soon with a confirmation

Thanks bro...so 20gt00 was right then...my guage is really off!!! I went on the net and found out that they have the reputation of not being too accurate...
