95 GT Runs Hot!!

Hey guys I have a question as to where my temp gauge should be, once the car is fully warmed up? I thought normally it should be at the mid-point, or slightly under, but mine climbs up to over 3/4's of the way. I talked to another 95 stang owner in town, and he tells me they normally run hot, but this scares the crap out of me. I don't want to blow er up! Can anyone help me? Is this normal?

Ok, I should have added this on the original post, but the rad has just been replaced, along with t-stat, and had a rad flush done too, but this did not rectify the problem. Wondering if it could be something with the fan?

Well if the fan isn't kicking on,that would be another cause,or maybe the water pump, but that is a maybe,or you got air in the cooling system after replacing the rad,and T stat from not properly burping it so to speak.

I got a 94, it only runs maybe 1/2 way.
Either you need to put a 180* Thermostat in, OR you need to replace your Coolant Temp Sensor!
Do you have a air lock in your cooling system? this will also cause issues.

Most 94/95's have this issue. Depending on the miles you'll see a nice improvement if you burn a new computer program. Better fuel economy and runs cooler.
