Gotta say tho, he replaced my 825 Demon with his Holley 830 HP on my 351, jetted it & the car went 2.5 tenths quicker .....:tup

Ok well why is it that all dirt modified's except sprint cars are carb'd. Who tunes their carbs then if there isnt any body who knows what they are doing. I may know of 3-5 computer tuners within a 5 hour driving distance. Are you telling me thta there are as few number of carb tuners out there. I may not "know it all" but I have been around and if I were to have to start from scratch again I would be going carb hands down IMHO

yep!

My thoughts exactly explained, there are lots of guys that can tune em, but there are a hell of a lot fewer that can fine tune em.

Well if people learned how to read plugs aand understand them theyd be better at it ...they just think it easy... fine tuning is an art but most carbs nowadays are tuned close enough outta the box based on combo and if you go with a Pro System deal Patrick will definitely tell you what you need its all good:tup Basic guys can expect alot of talk about what carb and what not but really read about your parts understand what they do so you grasp the cocept many dont and struggle trying to understand why there car is pig rich or lean they cannot diagnose and for those car guys you need deep pockets ...information for everything is on the web read not saying its going to cure everything but will give you a great baseline and go from there its trial and error it takes many attempts to tune properly there are no short cuts

Now then it's my turn for sarcasm. I guess the manufacturers have gone to f/i because it is not as reliable etc. I had my 82 GP tuned up twice a year and since I have never had to tune a f/i car. Last tune-up was in 1990:D
