how do I conduct a compression test

I'm going to buy a compression test kit and was wondering how to use it.
The motor is on an engine stand.

You need to hook up a starter to the engine first.

That requires a special mounting plate or a bell-housing (not necessarily the transmission)

Unless you can roll it over by hand fast enough lol
Its Really simple remove a spark plug, screw one end of the hose were the spark plug came out of and roll the engine over a couple times.
To read it really simple as long as its in the green...
Once finished hit the button on the side to release the pressure then unscrew and move to the next cylinder. Pretty simple
